Mal O'Connell is a producer and narrator of On the Outside in Chattanooga. After immigrating to Nashville, TN, from Dublin, Ireland in 2011, he later moved to Chattanooga, TN, and graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. While working with Dr. Richard Winham as a Producer at WUTC 88.1 FM, Mal found a passion for radio production, and continues to work hard to make content that is both hard hitting and entertaining. 

Dr. Richard Winham is a producer and editorial director of On the Outside in Chattanooga. For over 40 years, Richard has been a familiar voice for those in the Tennessee Valley. His quick-witted humor and vast knowledge of music became an integral part of his role as a Host and Producer for WUTC 88.1 FM, and as a producer of On the Outside in Chattanooga, Richard works hard to ensure the stories of Chattanooga's unsheltered are told from a truthful, unbiased point of view.
